All of our brews are aimed to please both the experienced and the novice ale drinker, using traditional English malts and 
hops.
Wharf Best
4.2‰Brewed using Goldings Hops, A traditional English variety grown here for over 100 years, valued for its smooth, almost sweet, delice, slightly spicy aroma that produces the classic Goldings finish.
Borough Bitter
4.0‰A dark red, malty, sesssion bitter. Brewed with the finest Maris Otter pale ale malt, crystal and Chocolate malts. Bittered with Perle hops and with a distinctive, frutiy (blackberry) aroma from the Bramling Cross variety.
Wharf Bitter
3.6‰The bitterness of this ale comes directly from the Fuggels hops used in this brew. This hop has been used in brewing since 1875. It has a delicate minty, grassy, slightly floral aroma producing a clean, refreshing full-bodied flavour.
Wharf St George
Available from April 09 | 4.3‰A little variation on our Wharf Rebel, a little less alcohol making it more "sessional" and a little more Cascade in the hops department. A more pronounced fruity aroma with nutty maltiness on the palate.
Wharf Trader
3.9‰Our Summer Ale, fresh, zingy and extremely quaffable. Hopped with Pioneer and Cascade balancing bitterness with a lemony zestiness that makes you want to come back for more.
Wharf Rebel
5.4‰Our new brew for the Winter months is now on the bar. A little more punch than our first brews, just right for the cold winter months. A rich dark chocolate coloured ale with a slightly sweet, vesty aroma from the cascade hops with a rich warming mouthfill.

Available from December 09 | 5.4‰Every good brewery does a good Winter Ale, and Wharf Robin is ours. Using the Wharf Rebel as a good starting point, the Robin is a rich dark chocolate coloured ale which has been delicately flavoured with orange, cinnamon and almond, to give it that all important Christmas in a glass taste.
